Welcome to the new journal Global Cardiology!
Global Cardiology is a journal devoted to the dissemination of knowledge, impact and research relevant to cardiovascular physicians and other health care practitioners worldwide. We believe that research efforts and improvements in clinical practice must be based on a global research effort and designed to address the global barriers to the effective prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disorders on a worldwide basis. Too often in the past, research has been focused on the needs of wealthy nations, while the knowledge and needs of people in developing countries have been largely ignored [...].
